Three game difficulties are now included: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. All campaign levels are available in every difficulty tier. The selected difficulty changes the gameplay tuning only. Target counts are now deterministic for each level and difficulty, so the same level should keep the same amount of targets whether you switch difficulty on that level or arrive at it by moving through the campaign. Intermediate and Advanced add more notes than Beginner, but they are capped so they do not become too overloaded.
